  • Your credit or debit card (physical card in hand)
  • A well-lit space for taking photos
  • About 5 minutes of time

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1: Enter Your Information

First, you'll fill in some basic details:

  • Your full name
  • Your email address
  • The company or project you're renting for
  • The rental order number (provided by your rental company)

Pro tip: Double-check your email address - that's where you'll receive your confirmation!

Step 2: Capture Your Card Images

This is where Rentalyst makes things super easy:

1. Take a photo of the front of your card - Just point your phone's camera and snap! Make sure all numbers are visible. 2. Take a photo of the back of your card - Same deal, make sure the signature strip is clear.

The system will automatically read your card details, so you don't have to type long numbers!

Privacy Note: These images are encrypted and stored in secure cloud storage with restricted access. Only authorized staff at the rental company can view them.

Step 3: Confirm Card Details

Review the information that was automatically detected:

  • Cardholder name
  • Card number (we'll show only the last 4 digits for security)
  • Expiration date
  • Security code (CVV on the back)

Add your billing address and ZIP code.
