Rentalyst integrates with existing inventory management systems to add customer verification and authorization capabilities without disrupting your current workflow. This guide covers integration with Booqable and similar rental management platforms.

How to Set Up the Integration
1. Access Rentalyst Settings → Integrations 2. Select your inventory system (Booqable or Custom API) 3. Enter your API credentials from your inventory system 4. Configure sync settings (which fields to sync, sync frequency) 5. Test the connection using the verification tool 6. Enable automatic sync or manual sync as preferred
Data Synchronization
Customer Information (Two-Way Sync):

Order Data (One-Way: Inventory System → Rentalyst):
- Order numbers for linking authorizations

Workflow Examples
New Customer Order: 1. Customer creates order in your inventory system 2. Order data syncs to Rentalyst 3. Send FastTrack and CC Auth links from Rentalyst (order number pre-filled) 4. Customer completes submissions 5. Verification data syncs back to customer profile in inventory system 6. Process order with complete customer information
Returning Customer: 1. Existing customer creates new order 2. Rentalyst displays previous verification status 3. Send only CC Auth if FastTrack still valid 4. Authorization links to order automatically 5. Order proceeds with verified customer
High-Value Rental: 1. Order triggers automated workflow in Rentalyst 2. System sends CC Auth, FastTrack, and COI request 3. All submissions link to order number 4. Review consolidated verification dashboard 5. Approve or decline with full context
Automated Workflows
Configure automatic triggers based on order data:
Trigger by Order Value:
- Orders over $5,000: Require FastTrack + CC Auth
- Orders over $10,000: Require FastTrack + CC Auth + COI
- Orders under $5,000: CC Auth only for new customers
Trigger by Customer Status:
- New customers: Full verification suite
- Returning customers: CC Auth only
- VIP customers: Streamlined process
Trigger by Equipment Type:
- High-risk equipment: Enhanced verification
- Standard equipment: Standard process

Maintaining Data Integrity
The integration preserves data in both systems:
- Updates in inventory system sync to Rentalyst
- Verification data from Rentalyst syncs to inventory system
- Neither system overwrites critical data

Using the Integration Daily
1. View order in inventory system to see customer and equipment details 2. Switch to Rentalyst to send verifications (or use automated workflow) 3. Receive submission notifications via email 4. Review in Rentalyst dashboard with linked order context 5. Return to inventory system to see updated customer status 6. Process order with complete verification
Alternatively, work entirely in Rentalyst and let data sync to your inventory system automatically.
Troubleshooting Sync Issues
Data Not Syncing:
- Check API credentials in settings
- Verify sync is enabled for specific fields

Duplicate Customers:
